If you’ve ever shopped at an American grocery store, you are no doubt familiar food labels declaring their contents GMO free.
You’ve probably hopped on the Internet to look up information about GMOs and the science behind them. And I would bet money that you walked away from your quest for GMO info with frustration, fear and uneasiness.
A week ago today, the U.S. National Academies of Science released a 420 page study that concluded what smaller studies have concluded for years: GMOs are generally safe, and they have and can continue to benefit humanity.
